Drive-Thru Gyro Fest coming to Greensboro

The Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 800 Westridge Road in Greensboro, will hold a Drive-Thru Gyro Fest from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 17 and 18.

The fest is essentially a mini version of its annual Greensboro Greek Festival, held in September.

The fest will include more than just gyros. There will be souvlaki, Greek salad, spanakopita, baklava, and kids’ hot dogs. Gyros and souvlaki will be sold as combos with a bag of chips and bottle of water for $10. Greek salad and spanakopita (three pieces) also are $10 each. Baklava costs $20 for six pieces. A hot-dog combo is $5.
