The Greek Australian community has been deeply saddened by the passing of beloved singer and songwriter John Tikis, an artist who dedicated more than five decades to Greek music, earning the love and respect of thousands of people in both Australia and Greece.
News of his death in Greece was announced by his two daughters, Angela and Annita Tikis, in a heartfelt social media post that moved friends, admirers and those who knew him personally.
