Megaron in Northern Evia The Limni Festival


Now in its fifth consecutive year, the Athens Concert Hall brings music and culture to Northern Evia, with a richer and more multi-dimensional program than ever, featuring 14 events — concerts, festivals, and educational programs — all free of charge for the public.

Three major summer concerts, the Limni Festival, and educational programs for children make up a celebration of culture running from July through September, in Agia Anna, Prokopi, Mantoudi, and Limni Evias.

August 30 | 21:00 | Skala Limni ✦ Evanthia Reboutsika
Her melodies, which touch the emotions directly, journey from Politiki Kouzina to the musical traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean, in a unique evening in enchanting Limni. Featuring Sofia Zova.

August 31 | 20:30 | Elymnion Cinema-Theater ✦ Tribute to Vangelis Papathanassiou
Zorz Katris — live electronic music
An impressive tribute to the internationally acclaimed Greek composer, featuring live electronic music and screenings from films marked by his music — among them Alexander, Chariots of Fire, and Blade Runner.

September 5 | 20:30 | Skala Limni ✦ The Band of the Hellenic Coast Guard
A vibrant musical evening journeying from musicals to jazz and the nostalgic melodies of the ’50s and ’60s.

September 6 | 20:30 | Elymnion Cinema-Theater ✦ Kimon Vintzileos — Guitar Recital
Featuring soprano Antonia Kokkinou
Spanish and Latin American composers, in an evening devoted to guitar and voice.

September 12 | 19:00 | Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos, Limni ✦ musicaAeterna byzantina
A deeply moving concert with the renowned choir, founded and led by the internationally acclaimed Greek conductor Teodor Currentzis.
Choir director: Antonios Koutroupis.

September 13 | 20:30 | Elymnion Cinema-Theater ✦ Nocturnal Confessions
Miltos Logiadis on piano and Christos Zerbinos on accordion take us on a journey through the music of Tsitsanis, Hadjidakis, and Greek traditional music.

September 18 | 19:00 | Limni Nautical Club ✦ EVIA FM
EVIA FM is a solo choreographic work by Eirini Anna Georgiou, combining dance and music, transforming a familiar space into a field of memory and imagination.

September 19 | 20:30 | Skala Limni ✦ Two Pianos Jazz Quartet
An exuberant musical journey without limits — jazz, funk, ragtime, blues, musical, opera — in an unprecedented musical feast.

September 20 | 20:30 | Elymnion Cinema-Theater ✦ Christos Papageorgiou — Recital & Lecture
A journey through piano and screenings across various styles and eras, centered on Mikis Theodorakis’s song “Sto Perigiali to Kryfo” (“On the Hidden Seashore”).

The programme is funded by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and is presented in collaboration with the Municipality of Mantoudi–Limni–Agia Anna in Mantoudi, Prokopi, Limni, Agia Anna and Rovies.
