The Embassy of Vietnam in Greece in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of Vietnam officially launched on Wednesday a three day cultural event called “Vietnam Days in Greece 2026” in order to further strengthen cultural relations and understanding between the people of the two countries.
The theme of this year’s Vietnam Days has been chosen to introduce Greek and international friends to the life, thought, and legacy of late President Ho Chi Minh, whom UNESCO honored as a hero of National Liberation and an outstanding man of Culture of Vietnam.
“President Ho Chi Minh is a symbol of the aspiration for national liberation, inspiring movements for independence, justice, and peace throughout the world” said Ambassador Mrs. Thi Thu Huong Pham.
Dimitrios Koutsoumpas, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Greece attended the event.
The exhibition runs until Friday, June 26th- Venue: The City of Athens Arts Center, Eleftherias Park
