Meráki Greek Grill, the Las Vegas-born restaurant with five locations across the valley, is extending the reach of its spicy feta and spanakopita, its lamb gyros and kalamakia steak skewers, with two new shops.
Store No. 6 is scheduled to open in June at 1551 S. Commerce St., Suite 110, in downtown, with 3,300 square feet and seating for 85. Store No. 7 is planned to debut at 1685 E. Cactus Ave., Suite 100, in Henderson, with 3,600 square feet and seating for 96.
The expansion comes as new items join the menu: lightly fried taverna cheese served with hot honey, Greektown doughnuts with Nutella and frozen Greek yogurt in four flavors.
Girair “Jerry” Goumroian and franchise partner Joseph Djavairian founded Meráki, launching the inaugural restaurant on South Rainbow Boulevard in 2017, a Summerlin spot in 2021, a third shop on Blue Diamond Road in June 2022, a location in Centennial Hills in October of that year and a fifth grill in February 2023 on Stephanie Street in Henderson.
In 2018, Meráki took the No. 78 spot on Yelp’s list of top 100 U.S. restaurants. Meráki also has three locations in Urah. Visit merakigreekgrill.com and follow @merakigreekgrill on Instagram and Facebook.
