Although Tae-sang manages to find a lead on Myeong-ja, he finds himself trapped in the hospital right above a creature underground. After an episode’s worth of effort, Tae-sang makes his way out of the hospital but decides to re-enter and finds Ryu Sachimoto, the artist. Meanwhile, the other survivors of the creature takeover, Chae-ok and Jung-won plan on making a risky rescue plan.

The rescue plan works! Tae-sang and Chae-ok reunite in their search for Myeong-ja and other survivors. Amidst such intense scenes, the infamous creature reveals itself. After coming face-to-face with the creature, the duo unfortunately get captured. While one tries to plan an escape, the other decides to stay to find someone near and dear to her. While Chae-ok is on a mission to save her mother, Tae-sang follows along to save her from any dangers. On her way, Chae-ok confronts the beast.

With only 10 minutes to react, the duo unanimously decide to risk everything to make an escape route for other survivors. But, as everything seemed to be going according to plan Tae-sang is the one who is left behind. The very next episode reveals that an unlikely acquaintance, the wife of the Army General, becomes Tae-sang’s best bet to escape. When he reunites with Chae-ok once again, they come face-to-face with Myeong-ja, but something is different about her. Next, Chae-ok’s father is seen entering the hospital to secretly meet the creature, who is actually Chae-ok’s mother.
