10th Greek Maritime Golf Event heads to Messinia this September

The Greek Maritime Golf Event will return this September 5-8 for its 10th annual event at Costa Navarino in Messinia.

The event is known as Greece’s ‘best golf event’, a distinction it earned at the 2024 Sports Marketing Awards, where it won four awards, including for its collaborations with Miele Hellas at the golf courses of Costa Navarino and Glyfada.

Greek PGA golfer and event organiser Thanos Karantzias shared his excitement for later this year.

“We are especially pleased that the maritime tournament we organise has managed over these years to develop and establish itself as one of the most important golf events in Greece,” he said in a media release.

“We renew our appointment for September 5-8 and invite everyone at Costa Navarino to celebrate together the 10th anniversary event which will be full of activities and surprises”.

A competition will be held at Navarino Hills between teams of four that will see more than 80 top executives from the maritime industry compete.

The rounds will take place on the two signature 18-hole courses, designed by two-time Masters champion and Ryder Cup legend José María Olazábal.

Navarino Hills provides a landscape with centuries-old olive trees and views of the Ionian Sea, Navarino Bay and the port of Pylos.
