Winston-Salem Greek Festival returns with food, music, and dance this weekend

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The annual Winston-Salem Greek Festival is back this weekend, promising a vibrant celebration of music, dance performances, vendors, and a variety of food options. The festival, which began in the 1980s, has become a cherished tradition in the community.

Victoria Kaliviotis, a representative of the Greek Festival, said, “I think that something that’s really special about it behind the scenes is that everyone in the community has a certain talent that they bring to bring this whole thing together. So it’s a labor of love to put it on, but to get this much support from the Triad community to allow us to grow, I mean we’re looking to see 15-20,000 people this weekend.”

The festival will continue through Sunday, with an option for visitors to enjoy food on the go via a drive-thru service. Admission is available at the door.
