Only three seconds were enough for Marigona, originally from Kosovo, to get the attention of all Greece, but also the international one.
In a live link for “Invitation to 5”, she tells what happened after the camera focused on her in the stands during the Olympiacos-Villeurban match.
The 24-year-old beauty says that she did not expect something like this to happen, while she says that after the match, her friends informed her that it had gone viral.
Marigona is proud of her origin, where, speaking about her life, she shows how she emigrated from Kosovo when she was little, but came back to visit it again.
“I was in shock. They thought I was Greek. Yes, I am very proud to be from Kosovo. When I was 4 years old, the family decided to go to Germany. Seven years ago we came to Greece to live with my friend. Germany and Greece are very different, we like life here because of the sea. At work I help my friend, he deals with expensive watches. I had offers for modeling, many more on television,
My friend and I met in Germany, we decided to come just for vacation, we liked the country and decided to stay. In August we were in Kosovo, I told him where I grew up. We were also in Albania, he likes it. He also listens to Albanian music a lot. If there was a sea in Kosovo, we would have lived there”, she says.
Asked if she would be willing to work for a television project in Albania, the 24-year-old said: “Why not?”
