W Costa Navarino Reopens with New Gastronomy, Music and Wellness Program

W Costa Navarino in Messinia, reopened on April 2, welcoming couples, groups and families with teenagers, with a renewed program centered on gastronomy, music and wellness.

The resort’s seasonal offering is developed through collaborations with Michelin-starred chefs, electronic music artists and wellness specialists, shaping a diverse lineup of experiences throughout the season.

Meanwhile, guests staying at the OASIS villas have access to tailored services, including curated menus, private wellness sessions and optional private DJ experiences.

Gastronomy inspired by Messinian heritage

Executive Chef Nikos Billis leads the resort’s culinary direction, drawing on Messinian heritage and locally sourced ingredients. The approach combines seasonality and locality with a contemporary take on Greek cuisine.

Among the main dining concepts, Parelia offers a beachfront setting with sharing-style dishes based on seasonal ingredients, while Piqantro Iberica, located at Navarino Hills overlooking Navarino Bay, focuses on a modern grill experience featuring premium meat cuts with Iberian influences combined with local produce.

The W Lounge operates as an all-day venue for Mediterranean comfort food, complemented by guest mixologists and music-led evenings, including vinyl sessions.

A new street food concept, Tsikna, will also operate at Navarino Agora, inspired by traditional Athenian souvlaki spots and featuring Greek meats and locally sourced ingredients.

Michelin-starred chefs return for “Chefs on the Beach”

The “Chefs on the Beach” experience returns for a third year in July and August, bringing together Michelin-starred chefs and leading culinary figures for open-fire dining events curated by Billis.

This year’s lineup includes Michalis Merzenis (July 17), Osman Sezener (July 31), Luca Piscazzi (August 10), Niklas Ekstedt (August 21), Giorgos Kattaras (August 28) and Panagiotis Giakalis (September 3).

Music and mixology collaborations

Music and mixology remain central to the resort’s programming. The Bar in Front of the Bar, ranked among the World’s 50 Best Bars, continues its collaboration with the resort, presenting signature cocktails inspired by Messinian herbs, fruits and botanicals.

Electronic music events curated by Yannis Gerontakis (YERO) and Cozmo Athens will run from July to September, featuring DJ sets by Valeron, Maxi Meraki, Agent Greg, Junior Pappa and others.

Additional music experiences will take place across the resort, including sunset DJ sessions at Parelia and vinyl listening events at the W Lounge.
