Following coordinated and targeted efforts by the Rhodes Hoteliers Association (APR), a press trip to Rhodes, with the participation of Turkish journalists and lifestyle influencers, is being implemented in the context of enhancing the tourist promotion of the island in the Turkish market. The journey takes place on the direct flight from Istanbul – Rhodes, with the support of the EOT Office in Istanbul and Aegean Airlines.
The mission, consisting of seven representatives of the media and influential personalities of the Turkish market, will visit Rhodes from July 3 to July 8, 2025. During their stay, the guests will be hosted in hotels on the island and will have the opportunity to get to know them, Top tourist destinations in the Mediterranean.
This action is a continuation of the systematic strategy of APR for the development of new markets, with particular emphasis on the Turkish market. It is recalled that as early as February, the Union had made its first autonomous participation in the EMITT International Tourism Fair in Constantinople, represented by a hoteliers’ delegation, with the aim of enhancing contacts and investigating partnerships.
Local support is done by the Tourism Directorate of the Municipality of Rhodes, in close cooperation with APR, with the aim of hosting the guests and creating powerful impressions that will be transferred to the Turkish market.
The Rhodes Hoteliers Association expresses its warm thanks to all stakeholders for cooperation, as well as to Aegean Airlines for the Istanbul-Rhodes direct flight, which is a critical infrastructure for attracting visitors from the neighboring country.
