From French classical music in Paphos to award-winning theatre in Nicosia, there is plenty to keep you busy across the island this week.
Music
Paphos, Technopolis 20, 7pm. A concert dedicated to French music and poetry, featuring Alexandra Smirnova (soprano), Maria Avraam (piano, flute) and Stavros Savvas (accordion). The programme includes miniatures for piano and voice by Fauré and Debussy, alongside Ravel’s arrangements of Greek songs and a journey through Greek and Cypriot folk melodies. Nicosia, Theatre Ena, 7pm. Boeing Boeing, one of the most celebrated farce comedies in contemporary theatre, comes to Theatre Ena directed by Andreas Christodoulidis, starring Dimitris Giorkatsis, Charitini Iliadou, Irini Karagiorgi, Evangelia Nicolaou, Elena Olympiou and Antonis Parcharidis.
