ATHENS – Theatre of the No, Athens’ first English speaking theatre, starts the year on a high note with an extraordinary night of jazz improvisation, presenting the Freedom Quartet- three legends of the Greek music scene, Kostas Yaxoglou, Chrysostomos Boukalis, and Nikos Sidirokastritis, joined by the internationally renowned jazz artist Gilad Atzmon on Saturday, January 4, 10:30 PM.
Together, they promise an unforgettable performance as part of the ‘NO, Jazz Saturdays’ series.
Jazz is the language of improvisation, and Freedom Quartet speaks it fluently. Original compositions and daring improvisations will bridge East and West, blending tradition and innovation in a captivating celebration of emotion, from pain to pleasure and beyond.
