Giannis Antetokounmpo has expressed enthusiasm about the Milwaukee Bucks’ latest roster additions while also providing an update on his recovery from injury.
The Greek NBA superstar, who missed the Bucks’ last six games before the All-Star break due to a left calf issue, has returned to practice and is optimistic about his progress.
“I’m OK. I don’t know if I’m at 100% yet, we’ll see. However, I was able to go through some drills, and I feel good,” Antetokounmpo said. “I don’t want to have the same problem I had last season, so I chose to rest and come back healthy.”
Beyond his injury status, Antetokounmpo is particularly excited about Milwaukee’s new signings, including Jericho Sims, Kyle Kuzma, and Kevin Porter Jr.
“The team looks great. We’re playing very fast, and everyone is competitive. I definitely think we’re going to play better and grow. It’s something I’m excited about,” he emphasised.
With his return imminent and fresh talent joining the squad, Antetokounmpo and the Bucks are gearing up for a strong push in the second half of the season.
