Sidarta’s real name is Panos, and he has shared the inspiration behind his stage name. “Sidarta comes from Hermann Hesse’s book. My sister, who introduced me to rap, told me about it. I read the book and adopted it as my artistic name without much thought. At that time, I was going by my initials, ΔΠΨ. Two years later, the summer before I joined Offbeat, I read the book again and realized that this name was made for me.”
