The great American singer is coming for four unique performances at Half Note Jazz Club in Athens from Friday 6th to Monday 9th December.
The music of Dana Masters is an ode to joy, and her voice is a jewel for jazz, soul, and R&B. She is coming to Greece for the first time for four unique appearances from Friday, December 6 to Monday, December 9, at Half Note Jazz Club.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, in 1982, Dana grew up in a family that supported the anti-racism movement, and the music that surrounded her was the sounds of Marvin Gaye and Earth, Wind & Fire, and a lot of R&B.
After finishing school at 17, she left home to pursue her dream of studying music and becoming a singer.
Dana lived for four years in Minneapolis, where she even worked with Prince. Then, she left for Los Angeles to try to make a career there, where she worked with Kanye West, among others.
Joining her in these first concerts in Greece will be an extraordinary trio led by the amazing pianist, composer, arranger and producer Cian Boylan who has worked with Sinead O’Connor, George Michael, Brian Eno, and dozens of others.
