
The Greek Summer Festival will take over Carss Bush Park this Sunday, 15 February, bringing Sydney’s biggest celebration of Greek culture to the waterfront with a full day of food, music, dance and family entertainment.
The annual event attracts around 40,000 visitors each year, transforming the bayside park into a lively showcase of Greek heritage and community spirit. From morning until evening, vendors will fill the space with the aroma of freshly grilled souvlaki, trays of syrup-soaked loukoumades and an array of homemade sweets and regional specialities.
More than 110 stalls will be spread throughout the park, featuring a mix of food vendors, artisan crafts and local businesses.
The Lineup At Sydney Greek Summer Festival

The festival’s main stage will showcase live performances by Greek musicians and dance groups from across Sydney, celebrating traditional sounds and the country’s vibrant folk culture. In addition, high-energy dance performances and musicians playing classic island songs will keep the atmosphere lively, while inviting you to join in and experience the festivities firsthand.
The DJ set kicks off at 10am, setting the tone for the day, followed by live performances from Stelios Daliardos and Tina Kokkalis. Throughout the afternoon, 10 Greek dance troupes—including the Hellenic Lyceum, Pontian Association of NSW Pontoxeniteas, Cretan Association and Aristotelian Dance Academy—will take the stage, showcasing traditional styles from across Greece and Cyprus.
The program also includes an exclusive performance by International Greek singer Nikos Chatzopoulos at 2:30pm, as well as evening showcases from the Sophia Ventouris, Rallis and Sydney Greek Dancing schools from 5:30pm, Tina Kokkalis returns for a second live set at 6:15pm, leading into a headline DJ show by Krazy Kon at 7:30pm. before the festival closes with a fireworks finale at sunset.
Families can make a full day of it, enjoying amusement rides, a waterfront Ferris wheel and dedicated kids’ entertainment. Meanwhile, plenty of green space invites you to stretch out and settle in for a relaxing picnic by the bay.
