Stamatina Tsimtsili Warns About AI-Driven Scam Involving Anna Vissi

In a recent episode of Happy Day, TV presenter Stamatina Tsimtsili addressed concerns about an online scam featuring herself and renowned singer Anna Vissi.

The scam falsely advertises them as endorsers of weight loss products, using sophisticated AI technology.

Tsimtsili expressed her frustration over being repeatedly associated with various scams, despite her attempts to seek legal advice. “I’ve consulted with the Prosecution Service, but because it’s fraud, they advise me to stay uninvolved,” she said. The presenter explained that these fraudulent websites frequently change hosts, making them difficult to track down.

She went on to describe how scammers are now utilizing AI to mimic Anna Vissi’s voice, creating a convincing yet entirely false endorsement. “The latest thing I saw involves AI technology. They’ve somehow replicated Anna Vissi’s voice to make it seem like she and I are promoting weight loss products,” Tsimtsili warned.

Her central message to internet users was one of caution. “If someone believes this fraud, there is a problem,” she asserted, highlighting the increasing sophistication of scams driven by AI advancements. Tsimtsili urged the public to be vigilant and prepared for these new methods of deception.
