Stable Summer Season in Luxury Segment

Via Travel, a Georgia-based luxury travel company, reports a stable summer season in 2025, with Greece, Turkey, and Italy ranking as the most in-demand destinations. The company’s founder, Nino Namgaladze, shared these insights on BMGTV’s Women’s Narrative.

“Greece is our top seller, not just the mainland, but the islands as well,” said Namgaladze. “Turkey and Italian destinations follow, especially the Italian islands, which are more costly but still popular among Georgian travelers.”

Despite steady interest, late bookings remain a challenge, leaving customers with limited options and higher prices. According to Namgaladze, the demand is comparable to last year, but airfare has sharply increased, particularly to Italy, Greece, and France, where tickets now average EUR 700.

Namgaladze also highlighted the long-term impact of the pandemic, noting that while the appetite for international travel remains strong, many travelers wait until the last minute to make decisions, complicating trip planning for both clients and agencies.

She emphasized that the entry of new airlines from the Middle East and Asia into the Georgian aviation market signals a broadening tourism landscape, with potential for Indian and Chinese markets to emerge as significant sources of inbound travel in the near future.
