SPAIN: “…más fuerza que un huracán” – New version of “Esa diva” is out!

Melody will represent Spain at Eurovision 2025!

The new version of the winning song of Benidorm Fest 2025 “Esa diva” by Melody, is officially out and it is available to stream worldwide! As RTVE stated, the song has undergone changes to create a more ‘international version’ of the song.

Dream Team

The new production of “Esa diva” was directed by Rick Parkhouse and George Tizzard of Red Triangle Records, producers with great international acclaim. Their work includes artists such as Green Day, James Arthur, Måneskin, Bastille, Camila Cabello, David Guetta, YUNGBLUD, Charlie Puth, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Rauw Alejandro. Red Triangle’s hits have sold more than 50 million copies and surpassed five billion streams across platforms.

The musical arrangement for the classical Spanish part of the song was developed by Guillem Vila Borras, a young promising music producer. A Valencian based in Norway, he produces music for pop and electronic artists in the country. With classical training in Valencia and music production studies at the prestigious Berkeley University in the United States, Vila is one of the emerging producers from Spain with the greatest European projection.

Melody travelled to the UK for the revamp of “Esa diva”!

At the end of February, Melody worked with Parkhouse and Tizzard in their studio in Christchurch, UK. The two intense recording sessions resulted in a revamped version of ESA DIVA, with the idea of the song being a journey through musical references. At each stage of the song, a different nuance can be heard in Melody’s voice, a different diva, a testament to the Andalusian singer’s wide range of artistic possibilities. The result is a song whose rhythm increases progressively from beginning to end, with powerful choruses that showcase Melody’s sensitivity, drive, and vocal and interpretive power.
