What about the hosts? – It’s a GIRL POWER!

As it was officially announced during a press event hosted by RTVE last week, three fabulous women are about to host all three shows: Paula Vázquez, Inés Hernand and Ruth Lorenzo.

Paula Vázquez, Inés Hernand and Ruth Lorenzo will host Benidorm Fest 2025!

Paula Vázquez is one of the most famous Spanish tv hostesses. She has already hosted more than 29 shows. She’s also familiar to the Eurovision fans as she hosted “Misión Eurovisión” back in 2007.

Lawyer, influencer, comedian, communicator and a television presenter, Inés Hernand is for sure a multi tasking person. This year she’s back after being part of Benidorm Fest 2022 by hosting the Green Room and after hosting the main show in 2023 with Mónica Naranjo and Rodrigo Vázquez.

Did you maybe miss Ruth Lorenzo? Long time no see #not After hosting the Benidorm Fest last year and also hosting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid, last November, the stunning voice behind “Dancing in the rain”, Spain’s 2014 Eurovision entry, is ready to serve some more iconic moments this year.

The female group Ginebras and the popular singer Edurne are the official guests in tonight’s first semi-final during the musical break.

Ginebras are an iconic Madrid band famous for their queer girl pop anthems, their music videos filled with cultural references, and of course their colorful vintage wardrobe. The band is composed of four Spanish girls: Magüi (lead vocalist and guitarist), Sandra (vocalist and lead guitarist), Raquel (bassest) and Juls (drummer). The four are from different cities around Spain, but met in Madrid through university classes, parties, friends of friends, and queer Tinder –origins we can attribute to networks of queer women.

Edurne is already famous in the Eurovision family as she represented Spain back in 2015 with “Amanecer”. She auditioned for the fourth series of Operación Triunfo finishing in sixth place. During her music career Edurne has already released seven full albums, 22 solo singles and 8 single as featured artist. She has also appeared as a guest in several TV shows and she served as a judge at “Spain’s Got Talent”.
