SLOVENIA: Watch tonight the final of EMA 2025!

It’s the first “Super Saturday” of February and the Slovenian national final, EMA 2025 , is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated shows in today’s programme.

As you were first informed by OGAE Greece , the Slovenians have decided – this year – to trust their “traditional” national final, EMA . The Slovenians’ interest in the contest has increased significantly, after two consecutive qualifications in the last two years. This fact is also reflected in the number of songs submitted to the country’s public television, RTVSLO , which reached 114 in total.

A special jury, composed of music professionals as well as previous representatives of the country, undertook the difficult task of selecting 12 of them.

THE RUNNING ORDER OF THE FINAL

Thus, the 12 candidates who will compete tonight with the sole goal of a ticket to Basel are the following, based on the official running order:

PolarAce – “Kind”
Astrid & The Scandals – “Touché”
Jon Vitezič – “Vse ti dam”
Kiki – “O-ou!”
Eva Pavli – “Niti”
Klemen – “How Much Time Do We Have Left”
July Jones – “New Religion”
Žan Videc – “Pusti da gori”
Trine – “Grace”
RAI – “Frederick’s Dead”

WHAT ELSE CAN WE EXPECT FROM TONIGHT’S SHOW?

The big evening is scheduled to begin at 20:00 CET live from RTVSLO studio 1. Last year’s country representative, Raiven , along with singer Štras will be our hosts for tonight.

The final result will be determined through two rounds of voting . In the first round, 5 five-member juries will award points using the Eurovision system (1-8, 10 and 12 points). The five juries are as follows:

Music Jury (singers, musicians, producers, songwriters, etc.)
Television Jury (editors, presenters, directors, choreographers, etc.)
Radio Jury (radio editors, journalists, presenters, etc.)
OGAE Slovenia Jury
International Eurovision Influencers Jury (bloggers, vloggers, online journalists, etc.)

After the jury vote, the two songs with the highest scores will advance to the superfinal , during which the winner will be selected, exclusively through the vote of the public.

THE ODDS

Unwavering favorite to win tonight is July Jones , according to the bookmakers. Her victory is played at odds of just 1.60 , followed – from afar – by Klemen with odds of 3 and ANNA with 10 .

From the moment the 12 candidate songs were announced on January 25 , an OGAE Greece poll started running regarding your favorite entry for this year’s EMA 2025 .

Our readers did not agree with the bookmakers as at the top of their preference was – by a significant margin – PolarAce with “Kind” with a percentage of 27,78% . He was followed by ANNA and “Čau” with 19,44% while RAI with “Frederick’s Dead” came at third place with 13,89% .
