Singer Klavdia Wins Contest to Represent Greece for 2025 Eurovision (Vid)


ATHENS – In a close competition, singer Klavdia, performing Asteromáta, beat out 11 other artists to be named Greece’s entry in the 2025 Eurovision contest, Greece for the first time holding a contest to pick its choice, the event called Ethnikós Telikós 2025,

The two hosts, Elena Paparizou – who won the Eurovision contest before – and Sakis Rouvas, opened the show accompanied by the state broadcaster ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra and members of the ERT Choir.

Last year’s Greek contestant, Marina Satti, also performed her song Zari, and this year’s Cypriot artist Theo Evan performed Fuego, said Eurovision news. Klavdia was just two votes ahead of Evangelia, who sang Vale.
