San Marino’s Minister of Tourism, Federico Pendini Amati, has confirmed the government’s firm commitment to the new national Eurovision selection competition, the San Marino Song Contest. This year’s success in qualifying for the Eurovision final for the fourth time seems to have strengthened the determination to continue and further strengthen the project.
The San Marino Song Contest, created in 2025 as a natural evolution of the well-known “Una Voce per San Marino”, brought several upgrades to its structure and presentation. Its first edition was a complete success, as the new selection format led to the country’s qualification to the Eurovision 2025 Final. This year’s production was supported not only financially by the government, but also technically through the collaboration with the Italian public television RAI. At the same time, significant changes were made to the jury’s voting method, while the stage production was significantly upgraded, giving a more professional and impressive image.
The historic access to the final celebrates talent and fully validates the artistic choices made in the context of the San Marino Song Contest. A project, the latter, in which, in light of what happened and the image return obtained, we intend to continue investing with conviction.

The well-known DJ and producer Gabry Ponte represented San Marino this year with the song “Tutta L’Italia”, a piece that seems to unite San Marino musically with the wider Italian cultural identity. “Tutta L’Italia” finished in last place in the Grand Final, in Basel, with 27 points, of which 18 from the television audience and 9 from the juries.
