Last night, December 20, 2024, the Romanos the Melodist Chanters Society of New York held their second of this year’s Byzantine Music Christmas Concerts. Hosted by Transfiguration of Christ Greek Orthodox Church in Corona, New York, the concert’s audience included His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America. The performance included Byzantine hymns and traditional carols, featuring professional chanters and musicians as well as traditional instruments.
