But hey let’s not forget the main reason the olympics even exists. It doesn’t exist for the opening ceremony outfits. It’s not the quality of the outfits that counts it’s the quality of the athletes.

as a Brazilian let me say. We also hated the uniforms, but the Brazilian uniforms were made by women who lost everything on the South tragedy, and this was a way to make them recover.
Aa an Indian I think our local tailors could have come up with much better design than this.

Tasva didn’t live upto expectations.. it was horrible design .. even my 10 year old bro could think of this .. there’s no imagination and everything looked so dull ..

India was not just a gaint slab of land. It was divided by forests, mountains and whatnot… needless to say that we have so many different types of fabric, unique style, creativity, unique clothings…it seems they just put cheap costumes from a costume shop!! Even school kids on independence day are more cautious about their dress! Wth is that!! So disappointed
As an Indian i am too much disappointed. We are the land of textiles yet this was made. The only fault was to allow the famous design Tarun Tahlani to design these. He is did such a horrible work. Local designers would have have done far better.

I honestly feel bad for the indian one cuz india is bursting with colours at any given time and everything is just detailed.wish they let an actual talented person do the designs rather than based off of popularity.
