Primer Music Festival returns bigger and brighter than ever, taking over the iconic Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA) on September 6 and 7. This year’s festival continues to raise the bar, giving fans an array of the dance music’s most celebrated names, creating the ultimate summer escape for festival goers under the Greek sun.
Leading the mainstage on the first day is Armin van Buuren, who’s synonymous with trance and built a career dazzling the world’ biggest dance stages. Joining him on the lineup at the “Helios Stage” will be the melodic techno prowess of ARTBAT, while Boris Brejcha‘s legendary high-tech minimal sound, whose captivating productions have launched him to the forefront of the scene in recent years will be in charge of leading the after-hours on the “Lunar Stage“.
With more genre-spanning headline acts still to come, this year’s lineup is already shaping up to be the biggest to date and is set to take electronic music in Greece to the next level.
2025 marks a thrilling new chapter for Primer. Following last year’s double-stage spectacle and sold-out crowds, this year’s edition promises larger-than-life production, cutting-edge visuals and vibrant multigenre programming fit for a global audience. With the scale of OAKA as its new canvas, Primer 2025 is set to be a true musical odyssey.
“After five epic years at Water Square, it’s time for the next step,” the organizers say regarding the festival’s next location. “This is the country’s largest concert venue, giving us the opportunity to create an even more impressive production, welcome more people, and bring our vision for breathtaking shows to life.”
From its origins in 2018 to welcoming icons like Martin Garrix, Tiësto, and David Guetta to the Greek Capital over the years, Primer has evolved into one of Europe’s most exciting electronic festivals, presenting itself as the perfect summer getaway.
With a new home at OAKA and an even bolder vision for 2025, the countdown has officially begun. Although the first tier of tickets has already sold out, fans can still access the second tickets tier at ComeTogether.
