Phyto Stratis’ Musical Portrait of Edgar Allan Poe at Carnegie Hall on June 2


NEW YORK – AZLO Productions and CNY Productions present ‘El Dorado: A Musical Portrait of Edgar Allan Poe’, a theatrical concert on Monday, June 2, 8 PM, in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, featuring celebrated poems from the final years of Edgar Allan Poe, brought to life through original music by award-winning composer Phyto Stratis and orchestrated by Broadway veteran Kim Scharnberg.

Featuring interpretations of ‘The Raven’, ‘Annabel Lee’, ‘Lenore’, and other hauntingly beautiful works, this performance sets Poe’s poetry against a rich tapestry of sound, performed by four vocalists and an eight-piece chamber orchestra.

The presentation is part of the Amazonas 2025 series.
