The Island Park Greek Festival wrapped up another successful year after four days of music, dancing, and incredible food at Panaghia of Island Park. From August 21 to 24, visitors packed the church grounds to enjoy authentic Greek dishes, loukoumades and pastries, and a lively beer and wine garden.
Families filled the rides and games section, while live bands on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday kept the atmosphere festive late into the night. Long lines formed for souvlaki, gyros, and the famous loukoumades, with raffle tickets selling quickly throughout the weekend.
Father George Kazoulis of the Greek Church and organizers highlighted the strong turnout and community support.
With its mix of culture, food, and family fun, the Island Park Greek Festival once again proved to be a summer highlight for Long Island’s South Shore community.
