Experience the sights, sounds and tastes of a people whose cultural history goes back over 4,500 years at the Opa Fest in Troy.
The festival will be held June 20-22 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 760 W. Wattles Road. Hours are 4-11 p.m. June 20-21 and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. June 22.
It will feature authentic foods, cooking demonstrations, dances, kids’ games, raffles, presentations on Greek culture and religion and tours of the church.
Admission is $3 or three canned goods per person or $10 per family; children 12 and under are free. A portion of the proceeds will go to Gleaners Community Food Bank. Free parking and shuttle is available from Boulan Park, 1898 Boulan Park Drive.
