On October 17, the Theatre of the No welcomes George Gaudy, one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Greek music, for a one-night-only performance starting at 21:30. Known for his trademark “rough” voice and finely crafted compositions, Gaudy returns to the stage with an explosive new live set that promises to bridge the raw intensity of rock, the storytelling of folk, and the immersive textures of alternative music.
Following the success of his acclaimed trilogy — Mother, I Lost My Soul, and Down Down Below — which became the soundtrack to the hit TV series Eteros Ego, Gaudy is now entering a new creative chapter. His upcoming concert will draw from his entire discography, while also offering audiences a first glimpse into his much-anticipated new album.
Accompanying him on stage will be his long-time collaborators: Dimitris Grigoriadis on drums and Thanasis Giouleas on bass — a tight and powerful trio that has already built a reputation through standout performances at the Writer’s Sessions (Goulandris Museum). With a chemistry honed through countless live shows, the group now turns its full focus on Gaudy’s ever-evolving sound.
Over the past decade, George Gaudy has steadily carved out his place in Greece’s independent music landscape. His debut album Millionaire (2012) and the EP Will You (2014), both released via Archangel Music, introduced audiences to his distinctive songwriting. Later, digital singles like Mother / Why Oh Why (2016) and Berlin / Lullaby (2017) through Universal Music Greece expanded his sonic palette, leading to his introspective second LP Little Pieces (2020) — released on his own label.
Gaudy has performed alongside major names both local and international, including Sivert Høyem’s Paradise at Gagarin 205 and Fun Lovin’ Criminals at Fuzz Club, and has headlined top venues and festivals such as Gagarin 205, Six D.O.G.S., and Technopolis’ Jumping Fish Festival.
Tomorrow’s concert promises to be more than just a performance — it’s a statement of artistic endurance and renewal from a musician who continues to evolve without losing his edge.
