NoonSong – a choral liturgy every Saturday at noon
Today’s NoonSong takes us back 1000 years musically, to the origin of notated music. In the first century, monophonic liturgical chant fused Arabic, Greek and Jewish musical forms. Around the turn of the millennium, Gregorian chant reached a peak as a highly differentiated art form. Today, over 1000 years later, the floating, meditative, alien music is captivating more and more people.
