New Music From Gabry Ponte, Theo Evan, Princ and more

The Eurovision 2025 season is now in full swing and no doubt fans will have the songs from this year’s contest on repeat until we crown a winner in May. But that doesn’t mean we forget about the artists from past contests – they’re still bringing us a lot of new music to enjoy.

Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.

Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.

New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 20 part 2

With so many new songs this week, we’ve split the roundup into two smaller articles. You can find part 1 here.

Gabry Ponte & Train – “Brokenhearted”

We start the second part with Gabry Ponte, the Italian DJ who represented San Marino this year. He brought the country back to the Grand Final, even though he finished in 26th place.

This week, he teamed up with the famous American band Train to release an addictive club banger. The song is a true radio hit—one that heals broken hearts and gets you dancing instead. The song is a joyful tune about learning to love again.

Theo Evan – “Don’t kill my summer”

Theo Evan represented Cyprus this year. While he didn’t qualify for the final, Eurovision fans were instantly hooked on his performance. And now, he’s giving us more—with the release of his latest summer anthem. The track is a perfect dose of energetic summer pop, guaranteed to set the mood. It also doubles as a motivational breakup anthem, all about moving on from someone who brought you pain. With lyrics like “Delete my number / Don’t kill my summer,” Theo makes it clear—he’s ready to leave the past behind and embrace a new, sunny beginning.

Princ – Mila

Princ represented Serbia this year. Although he didn’t qualify for the Grand Final, his outstanding vocal performance left a strong impression on Eurovision fans. His newest album is titled Mila, the same name as his Eurovision entry, which also opens the album. It features 12 tracks, including an acoustic version and the instrumental of “Mila.” All songs are in Serbian, and the sound of the album beautifully reflects the richness of Serbian music—from heartfelt folk ballads to energetic turbo folk.

You’ll also find his fan-favorite “Cvet sa istoka” (Flower from the East), from his previous participation in PZE (Serbia’s national selection). The album brings together several of his hit singles that have already seen great success in Serbia, now available in one cohesive collection. It also features two collaborations: “Mirno” (Peacefully) with Goca Tržan, and “Paučina” (Spiderweb) with Šejla Zonić.

Damiano David – FUNNY little FEARS

Damiano, who won Eurovision for Italy in 2021 as the lead singer of Måneskin, has just released his long-awaited solo pop album. Dropped this week in the U.S., the album features 14 tracks, all in English.

The sound leans fully into pop, with a mix of previously released hits like “Next Summer,” “Born With a Broken Heart,” and “Silverlight” (produced by Labrinth), as well as brand-new songs. Among them are some deeply personal ballads such as “Sick of Myself,” “Angel,” and “Solitude (No One Understands Me).” The album also includes two standout collaborations: one with Suki Waterhouse on “The Bruise” and another with d4vd on “Tangerine.”

Ben Cristovao & Sofian Medjmedj- “FANCY”

Ben, who competed under the stage name Benny Cristo for Czechia, was originally selected to represent his country in 2020, before the contest was cancelled. He returned in 2021 and left a strong impression.

Now, if you’re looking for a groovy dance tune that doubles as a confidence booster and makes you feel “fancy,” this is the one for you. It’s a collaboration with producer and artist Sofian Medjmedj, and it’s all about love, slow dancing, and keeping those little secrets nobody else knows.

KALUSH & BEREZA – “Парашут”

KALUSH is the stage name of Oleh Psiuk, who won Eurovision for Ukraine in 2022 as part of Kalush Orchestra. He continues to explore music through various collaborations with Ukrainian artists, and this week brings us a new track with Bereza.

The song is titled “Parachute,” and it’s about finding comfort and safety in the one you love. It comes with a music video filled with striking contrasts of light and darkness, adding depth to the emotional story of the lyrics. With lyrics like “You shine like a star / And I will overcome mountains and seas / On the way to you / And you are like a parachute for me / I am not afraid to fly with you at all,” the song captures the feeling of trust and love.

About the song, KALUSH said:

The song is about that special person who became a point of reference. Although our paths have long since diverged, she is still like a guide — a parachute, a compass, a star. About love that shapes us and leaves a mark forever.

Rosa López – “Dime Io Que Piensas”

Rosa made Spain proud when she represented the country at Eurovision back in 2002. This week, she’s back with a new song titled “Tell Me What You Think,” a heartfelt pop ballad that feels like a dialogue with a loved one. Rosa’s sweet yet emotional voice takes the full spotlight it deserves, carrying the emotion of the lyrics beautifully.

About the message of her song, Rosa confessed:

This song is different. It doesn’t seek perfect answers or happy endings. It speaks of those silences that linger, of the calls we didn’t make, of everything left unsaid. Sometimes you need to stop, look within, and dare to ask. Even if it’s late. Even if we’re no longer the same.

Nathan Trent – “FFFU”

Nathan, who represented Austria at Eurovision in 2017, is already well known for his mastery of the pop music genre. This week, he’s back with a song that’s perfect for those moments when you feel stuck in a situationship that no longer brings you happiness.

The track comes with a lyric video so you can sing along. In it, Nathan makes it clear: no one will love like he does—but he’s done with the drama. He keeps it simple and moves on, saying a bold “F(k) x3 U.”

The Rasmus feat. Niko Vilhelm – “Break These Chains”

Finland’s rock legends are reunited in this track! The iconic Finnish rock band The Rasmus, who competed in Eurovision 2022, have teamed up with Niko Vilhelm from Blind Channel, Finland’s 2021 Eurovision act. The result? An absolutely epic rock anthem. The lyrics speak about breaking free from anything holding you back: “Break these chains / Let them fall / Set me free / Soul and all.” The track will be included on The Rasmus’ upcoming album, set for release this autumn.

Saltatio Mortis feat. Lord Of The Lost and more – “Spielmannsschwur”

This week is a real treat for rock music fans, as Lord of the Lost, who represented Germany at Eurovision 2023, are back with a powerful new collaboration. The project was initiated by the band Saltatio Mortis, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary. The idea behind the track was to unite rock artists from different subgenres—folk, rock, and metal—to create a new version of Saltatio Mortis’ most iconic song, one that celebrates solidarity, freedom, and the power of music. The result is an energetic, cross-genre anthem, a symbol of friendship and creative collaboration, with each artist adding their own unique flair.

Gjon’s Tears – “Set Me Free”

Gjon was initially selected to represent Switzerland in 2020, but the contest was canceled that year. His 2020 song finally made it to the Eurovision stage this year, featured as an interval act in the Second Semi-Final. Of course, Gjon also competed in 2021, where he impressed everyone with his powerful performance. This year, he returned once again as an interval act in the Grand Final, a well-deserved spot considering he’s one of Switzerland’s most valuable artists—especially after the country’s big win last year with Nemo. On top of all these Eurovision appearances, Gjon also released a new song this week, a track that stands out for its impressive vocals and a deep message about returning to one’s place called “home.”

Montaigne – “beyond the glass”

Montaigne is an indie artist who was selected to represent Australia in 2020, but after the cancellation of Eurovision, she returned in 2021. Her new alternative song challenges the imagination with poetic and metaphorical lyrics, like: “I keep waiting for the tide to turn / I guess that some fish will never learn / That there is an ocean out beyond the glass / And yet it’s better, somehow, to stay inside this…”

Using metaphors as irony, the song reflects on how others try to control your life and choices, and how sometimes people choose comfort over freedom—even when they know there’s something more out there.

She confessed:

It’s wild thinking on how much I’ve changed in the last 10 years of my life. It’s good to change your mind when you learn better information. I’ve learnt so much about myself, my family, and history, and yet in many ways I’m still a moron about it all. I do think I’ve learned some critical stuff though, about how abuses of power come to be and how people come to accept it. I really don’t want to be someone who yields to that force.

Kaleen – “Pretend We Can Fly”

Kaleen competed for Austria last year, and this week she dropped a brand-new song that she also performed live at Wiwi Jam in Basel. This is your perfect EDM club anthem—packed with savagery, optimism, and an addictive sound. The song is an encouragement to hold on to the things that matter and to keep going, even when everything feels meaningless.

STEFAN & Liis Lemsalu – “JACKPOT”

STEFAN, who represented Estonia in 2022, is back with even more of that Western flair, this time in a collaboration with fellow artist Liis Lemsalu. The track comes with a Western-themed music video, fitting the vibe perfectly. The lyrics speak about the impossibility of moving on from someone you once loved—someone who keeps showing up in your dreams and can’t be left in the past, despite your efforts: “Now I know, now I know / When I see you in my dream again / I fall again / And then / I remember everything from yesterday / It can’t be erased / You will not be forgotten / So soon.”

Deep Zone Project – “Не Ме Събуждай”

As we deeply miss Bulgaria in Eurovision, we’re lucky to still enjoy some fresh Bulgarian music! This week we have Deep Zone Project, who represented the country back in 2008. The retro glam is back in their newest track, “He Me Wake Up”—a song that beautifully blurs the line between dream and reality: “Don’t wake me up / I’m dreaming of you / This dream burns inside me, it burns / Don’t wake me up, we’re standing in the front row / And this movie was created by you and me.”

About the message of the song, the group said:

Have you ever had a dream so beautiful that you didn’t want to wake up? And then when you open your eyes… you realize that this dream is now your reality. Dreams sometimes come true more quietly than we expected.

Carpetman & Black Soil – “Alleys of My Mind”

Carpetman, part of Kalush Orchestra, who won Eurovision for Ukraine in 2022, is back with a new release that’s more than just a song—it’s a musical experience, a full journey of sound and rhythm, created in collaboration with Black Soil. The track comes with a visually stunning music video that’s sure to leave you in awe. The moral of the story? “In a quiet place of dusk and doubt, the truth remains—yet won’t call out.”

Sofi Marinova & Maria Mironova feat. Erika – “100 na 100”

Sofi, who represented Bulgaria in 2012, is back with a brand new collaboration with Maria Mironova. Their latest release is a turbo folk track that dives deep into Bulgarian tradition and cultural roots. The song radiates feminine power, with both artists making it clear—they won’t settle for anything less than princess treatment. When it comes to love, they want 100 percent of 100.

Demy – DELTA

Demy, who represented Greece in 2017, is back this week with a brand new album! The record includes 10 songs, all in Greek, and features her previously released singles. It’s a vibrant mix of retro dance vibes and Greek musical influences, creating a sound that’s both fresh and nostalgic.

The album includes exciting collaborations, such as the trap-infused “Girano” with Oge, and “Kane Me Na Se Misiso” with Billie Kark. Eurovision fans will also recognize “Diafanis”, her duet with Theo Evan (who represented Cyprus this year), which was featured in the Eurovision: A Little Bit More series during the season.

Sandra Kim & Celien Hermans – “INNER HERO”

We wrap up this week’s round-up with Sandra Kim, the iconic Eurovision winner for Belgium in 1986. This week, she teams up with Celien Hermans for a fresh pop tune with a modern radio-friendly sound. The song carries an empowering message — a reminder that you are your own hero and that you’re always capable of saving yourself, no matter the situation.

Which of these new songs is your favourite? Have we missed out on any? Do you have any artists you want to shout out to? Let us know in the comments.
