The current LEGO Ideas review round has grown by two more fan-designed projects, based on Beetlejuice and a perfumery.
Two more fan-designed models have joined the first LEGO Ideas review round of the year, bringing the total number up to 34 projects. The fate of the sets is now in the hands of the Ideas team, with a handful of them set to be chosen to become real LEGO Ideas sets.
Beetlejuice (1988) – Maitland/Deetz House
BRICK PROJECT’s Beetlejuice (1988) – Maitland/Deetz House is made up of around 2,800 pieces, packing in plenty of details from the 1988 movie, such as the Sandworm, the ‘Betelgeuse’ tomb, the Afterlife Waiting Room, and the Netherworld hallway. To bring the proposed set to life, the fan designer has also suggested seven minifigures to be included: Beetlejuice, Adam Maitland, Barbara Maitland, Lydia Deetz, Miss Argentina (the receptionist), Bob, and Delia Deetz
La Belle Ruelle
The most recent set to join the review round is La Belle Ruelle, designed by Santheg. The colourful building houses a classic hairdresser and an old-school perfumery called ‘Brick Scent’. It’s built in a similar style to the LEGO Group’s own modular buildings, with the same level of detail on every interior floor and the exterior facade.
