Music of Theodorakis and Hadjidakis to travel the world

The Hellenic Music Ensemble has announced a major world tour in 2026 honoring legendary Greek composers Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis, marking 100 years since their births.

Under the artistic direction of acclaimed composer and conductor Panos Liaropoulos, the 21-member orchestra will bring the music of the two icons to life in 21 cities across nine countries. Leading Greek performers Natassa Bofiliou and Giannis Haroulis will lend their voices to the timeless works that defined generations of Greek music.

The world premiere will take place on January 11, 2026, at London’s historic Theater Royal Drury Lane, with major stops including Carnegie Hall in New York and the Sydney Opera House.

Produced by GTP Entertainment, the tour promises a moving celebration of Greece’s musical heritage, reimagining the legacy of Theodorakis and Hadjidakis for audiences around the world.
