Megaron Garden Unveils Lush Summer Program

As the Greek capital braces for the first summer heatwaves, one cultural oasis is promising both a breath of fresh air and a breath of fresh culture: the Megaron Garden, the 4.5-acre park surrounding the Athens Concert Hall. With lush greenery, balmy evenings, and a newly announced summer program packed with music, cinema, and live performances, the Garden is set to be one of the city’s most cherished cultural refuges from mid-June through early July.

Every summer, the beating heart of music moves outdoors, and this year is no exception. As organizers put it, “Every summer, the heart of music beats in the heart of Athens: in the green Megaron Garden! This year, from June through July, we return to the coolest corner of the city with a rich and colorful program of concerts, shows, and surprises for all ages.”

From nostalgic tributes to legendary Greek composers and jazz tributes to Miles Davis, to silent cinema with live music, children’s puppet theatre, and epic garden parties, the 2025 Megaron Garden Festival is a celebration for all senses — and all ages.
