LUXEMBOURG: Industrial Version of “La poupée monte le Son” has been released

The doll raises the sound

Laura Thorn, the singer who will represent Luxembourg at Eurovision 2025, presented an impressive and innovative version of her song “La poupée monte le Son”.

Laura decided to move away from the acoustic approach that most artist choose and wanted to give her sound a more industrial and electronic character. The new version of “La poupée monte le Son” brings a new sonic direction and intensity that enhances both the emotions and the theme of the song. After the success of Tali’s acoustic video in 2024, which was shot on the legendary Pont Adolphe bridge, Laura Thorn’s team wanted to offer something completely different and more daring for 2025. Thus, the Halle des Poches à Fonte was chosen, a location that combines the strength and industrial heritage of Luxembourg with contemporary art and music. The atmosphere of the area, full of the imposing furnaces and the impressive architecture of Belval, combines harmoniously with the dynamic and electronic version of “La poupée monte le Son”, creating a unique visual experience.

Laura Thorn is a Luxembourgish singer and musician, known for her unique ability to combine classical and contemporary music. From a young age, she had extensive studies in music, completing a master’s degree in music theory and pedagogy from IMEP in Belgium. As an artist, she has developed a multifaceted career, with collaborations with international producers and a dynamic presence in the field of pop music. At the same time, she teaches music at the Conservatory of Ess-sur-Alzette, transmitting her knowledge to the new generation of musicians.

We remind you that Luxembourg competes in the Second Semi-Final on May 15 and appears in 13th place.
