The concert with conductor Pandi Bello will take place for all art lovers and compatriots in Thessaloniki, at 12.30 pm at the “Aneton” theater.

The “Lira” choir, declared “Honor of the Nation”, has a rich repertoire of over 100 songs such as serenades, patriotic, lyrical and folk songs in classical form.

The “Lira” choir is one of the oldest Balkan groups, which has produced hundreds of serenades that are still sung and loved by art lovers today.

The “Lira” choir was formed around 1917-1922 as a continuation of the instrumental-choral formations and groups of that time. / CNA
