A heated legal dispute has arisen involving prominent lawyers Alexis Kougias and Nikos Agapinos over the ownership of the renowned “Spilia” restaurant and the “Anastasia Village” hotel in Mykonos. The conflict primarily centers around the Chaniotis brothers, Nikos and Stathis, and their claims to the property.
The fiery exchange began after accusations of slander were made by Kougias against Agapinos. Kougias has announced plans to file a lawsuit and report to the Athens Bar Association, accusing Agapinos of libel, particularly against his client Nikolaos Chaniotis. Kougias claims false allegations were made regarding Chaniotis’s tax obligations and criminal record, which Kougias argues are unfounded.
In response, Agapinos expressed indifference towards the legal threat, maintaining that he has never been disciplined in his career and dismissing Kougias’s actions as an attempt to distract from the ongoing legal proceedings. He emphasizes that the resolution of the dispute will be determined by the Syros Court, which has already issued several rulings on the matter.
As tensions escalate, all parties involved await further judicial determinations, while the legal drama over one of Mykonos’s most iconic establishments continues to capture public interest.
