Latvia has chosen its representative for Eurovision 2026 in Vienna! In a Grand Final filled with tension, powerful performances and suspense right up until the final envelope was opened, Atvara won Supernova 2026 with the song “Ēnā”.
Ten finalists took to the stage in Riga for one last performance, each hoping to secure the ticket to Europe’s biggest music event. The duo De Mantra were the first to perform, while Miks Galvanovskis closed the competition by setting the stage on fire.
As in the semi-finals, the result was determined by a combination of public voting and jury voting — with the final announcement keeping viewers on edge until the very last moment.

A Grand Final Full of Energy and Variety
The Supernova 2026 Grand Final once again confirmed Latvia’s willingness to embrace musical diversity. From alternative and atmospheric concepts to polished contemporary pop productions, the show offered a broad spectrum of styles.
The production maintained Supernova’s signature minimal yet atmospheric aesthetic, allowing each act’s artistic identity and staging concept to take centre stage.
Hosting the Night
The Grand Final was hosted by Ketija Šēnberga and Lauris Reiniks, joined by Māra Sleja.
Ketija once again demonstrated why she has become synonymous with Supernova, bringing confidence and familiarity to the stage. Lauris Reiniks — who represented Latvia at Eurovision 2003 — added valuable Eurovision experience to the evening, while Māra Sleja connected viewers with the artists backstage and delivered immediate reactions.
The trio successfully built the suspense throughout the voting sequence, guiding viewers through every twist and turn until the winner was finally revealed.
Latvia Heads to Vienna
With positive momentum over the past two Eurovision editions, expectations are once again high for Latvia.
