Kohyli, meaning ‘shell’ in Greek, represents the song of the sea, reflecting moments of honesty and introspection in times of struggle, while fostering a profound connection to nature and ourselves. Blending contemporary, classical and cinematic elements with Hellenic influences, each note of Kohyli tells a story, holding memories and dreams.

Released in February 2024, Kohyli quickly reached #1 on the Greek Billboard Charts and was accompanied by a short music film with footage from Athens and the Cycladic island of Andros, about a girl who daydreams being back at sea while working at a restaurant. The short was directed by Thodoris Pistiolas of Asteraki Films and the Andros scenes were captured by Epaminondas Marmaras of Click Cinematography.

It received the Inspirational Music Video award from the Songwriters Song Contest, Honorable Mention from the Epidaurus Film Festival 2024, and was selected for the Bridges International Film Festival 2024.

In 2016, Thespina collaborated with Grammy jury member Tasos P. on ‘Anna (Mother of Mine)’, which reached #169 on the European charts. This song was featured in the TV and radio campaign for ‘Prevention Through Art,’ dedicated to breast cancer awareness. It was re-released three years later in a remix and included in The Libra Sessions, an album awarded the Silver Global Music Award.
