Greek Eurovision hopeful Klavdia successfully completed her final rehearsal on Wednesday ahead of her performance in Thursday’s second semifinal of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland.

Representing Greece with the song “Asteromata,” the young artist is vying for a spot in Saturday’s grand final among 16 competing countries.

Under the artistic direction of renowned choreographer Fokas Evangelinos, Klavdia’s performance features powerful visual storytelling. Social media footage from inside Basel’s St. Jakobshalle stadium reveals a dramatic stage design, beginning with the singer on a symbolic pier and progressing toward a rock – a journey meant to represent “the fiery path toward the Light.”

Wearing a flowing black gown by fashion duo Deux Hommes, Klavdia performs against a backdrop of striking LED visuals, including a burning tree and white birds. In a surprising twist near the song’s end, the stage briefly darkens before she reappears in a white dress – a visual transformation echoing the song’s emotional arc.

“Asteromata,” which explores themes of love, loss and separation, is considered one of the frontrunners to qualify for the final, according to Eurovision World’s predictions, which ranks Greece eighth in the semifinal.

Greece will perform seventh in the running order, alongside other participating countries including Australia, Ireland, Austria, Israel and Finland.

The competition will be aired by national broadcasters in participating nations, including ERT, where coverage commences with a preview at 9 p.m. and the second semifinal at 10 p.m.
