We discussed ways we can work together to strengthen the dynamic U.S.-Greece partnership, including on energy, trade and investment, and regional cooperation. Kimberly Guilfoyle Jokes About Her Marriage With Ex Gavin Newsom

She attended the official Presentation of Credentials ceremony in November at the Presidential Palace in Athens, where she met Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas and shared her past experiences in the country with him.

“I actually covered the Olympic Games in 2004 for ABC News,” Guilfoyle said, then added with a smile, “I also had a honeymoon here in 2004. Fabulous honeymoon, but…”

“The honeymoon was fabulous, but the marriage?” Tasoulas asked. Guilfoyle replied, “We’ll work on getting a new husband.”

Newsom and Guilfoyle, once called San Francisco’s “new Kennedys,” were a high-profile political power couple who married in 2001. During Newsom’s tenure as mayor, Guilfoyle served as San Francisco’s First Lady. The couple divorced in 2006, citing the pressures of their demanding careers. Afterwards, Guilfoyle became a prominent Fox News host and adviser to Donald Trump, while Newsom continued ascending in Democratic politics.
