For our first stop in Greece, we decided to stay at the most underrated island in Greece: Sifnos!
To be honest, we didn’t expect much, but were so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful towns, the stunning beaches and the amazing hospitality of the local people. We were also amazed by the quality of the food on Sifnos, from traditional taverna food to incredibly creative dishes that would fit perfectly in Michelin starred restaurants.
We had an amazing time in Apollonia and at Platys Gialos, but also loved the little town of Kastro, Vathi and Artemonas!

Sifnos is the home of the best travel agents in Greece. We've used Aegean Thesaurus Travel on many occasions. Top class. Wouldn't use anyone else.

Thank you for this video . The name is "Sifnos" . But in Greek Grammar we change the names according to their position in a sentence . If it is the subject you call it Sifnos. (Sifnos is the name of the island . The island is called Sifnos . Sifnos is one of my favorite islands) But when it is not the subject you skip the "s" at the end. F.e. Have you ever been to..Sifno? (Έχεις πάει ποτέ στην Σίφνο; ) or : Serifos is next to Sifno.
But in English you don't have this grammar rule so you use " Sifnos" everywhere

Great video, thank you! You asked how the island is pronounced in English, so here it is. It's Sifnos -not Sifno. We use 'Sifno' when in the object form, but that's only when we speak Greek. In English it's just Sifnos, Milos, Serifos etc
