The story
Argentine forward, Junior Mendieta is making the most of his serene and picturesque surroundings in his new home in Greece by marrying his boo, Celeste Morinico.
The skilful midfielder joined Greek top flight outfit, Volos FC in after just one season with Mamelodi Sundowns where he won the league but struggled to nail down a regular place in the starting 11.
The former Stellenbosch FC talisman made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Brazilians, scoring just two goals and registering three assists.
The 31-year-old seems to be loving life in Volos, where he’s already managed five goal contributions in his first ten Greek Super League matches.
Mr & Mrs Mendieta were joined by their families and new friends at their wedding last Friday, which took place at the four-and-a-half star, Domotel Xenia Volos City Resort.
