This week marks the start of the Paris Masters 1000, a major tournament notably affected by several high-profile withdrawals — among them, Stefanos Tsitsipas, who continues to struggle with physical issues in what has been a season to forget.

The Greek player is still undergoing recovery in hopes of returning to the court as soon as possible, while keeping fans updated on social media.
Always known for his creativity and humor, Tsitsipas recently shared a curious anecdote from the streets of Chicago.
“Got picked up by a Serbian bicycle taxi driver in Chicago. He looked me dead in the eye and said, ‘Antoine Griezmann?’ I said no. He winked and said, ‘Nice try.’ I guess I play for Atletico Madrid now.”

A few hours later, Tsitsipas followed up the post with a short video of the bike taxi driver in question.
Currently ranked No. 25 in the world, Tsitsipas is racing against time to be fit for next week’s Athens Open — the final ranking event of the season — where he could cross paths with Novak Djokovic, who is also skipping Paris as he works toward obtaining Greek citizenship.
