Heidi Klum Wears Medusa Halloween Costume for Heidiween 2025

  • Heidi Klum arrived at her annual 2025 Halloween party as a terrifying Medusa.
  • Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, was by her side as a Greek soldier turned into stone, playing into themes from Greek mythology.
  • Last year, the model was out of this world as E.T.

Heidiween is back and better than ever (evil laugh)! The reigning Queen of Halloween Heidi Klum has—once again—defended her title with a jaw-dropping, out-of-this world costume. As she exclusively promised InStyle earlier this month, her look was going to be “ugly, scary, maybe stinky,” and boy, did she deliver.

In fact, Klum’s costume might just become your nightmare fuel. The model’s creativity and shoot-for-the-moon approach is truly something to marvel at, and she didn’t miss a single detail. She arrived to her grand party at the Hard Rock Hotel New York, completely transformed into one of her most jarring looks ever.

True to her word, the unofficial Halloween queen’s costume was terrifying, arriving at the 25th anniversary of her annual Halloween party as Medusa alongside her husband, Tom Kaulitz, who dressed as a Greek soldier turned into stone. If you know your Greek mythology, it states that anyone who looks upon the grotesque Medusa turns into stone.

Kaulitz, ever the supportive husband, said that he still found his wife to be “sexy” despite her intricate costume being rather petrifying. The costume included a long tail and moving snakes in place of her hair—a look she’s been teasing on Instagram before her big reveal. Staying in character, Klum hissed at photographers as she posed for pictures.

Spooky season belongs to the Project Runway host, who year after year burns her costumes into pop culture memory. Last year, she and Kaulitz embraced space, showing up to her soirée as his and her E.T.s. The incredible cosplays included huge alien heads that they each carried on their own heads; their faces could be spotted in the necks of their andromedans.

The year before, Klum took a walk on her wild side, arriving as the bright-blue body of a peacock; a group of dancers served as her vibrant green wings. Then, of course, this story wouldn’t be complete without spotlighting her unforgettable worm of 2023. Klum metamorphosed into a haunting red, textured creepy crawler.

“I always try my best, I really do,” she shared with InStyle. “I never want to let my Halloween fans down. And I know people are watching from everywhere, so I really wreck my brain every year to come up with something fabulous, give everyone a good time, and hopefully inspire others to also do something creative.”
