The coming weeks and months have an exciting agenda for the island’s live music scene. Apart from the many happenings Cyprus’ artists are putting together, beloved music stars from Greece are travelling to the island for unique shows and to perform their beloved hits.
Up first is Panos Mouzourakis who will sing live in an evening dedicated to love and romance in Nicosia. Held on Valentine’s Day, Mouzourakis’ concert will include love songs, ballads and the artist’s hits. Organised by Love FM and LACTA, the concert is expected to be a popular event among lovers of the Greek music scene and tickers are already on sale at www.ticketmaster.cy
Mouzourakis’ fellow musician, Kostis Maraveyas will also sing live in Cyprus this February. His concert at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre on February 28 is organised by the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society, supported by Lidl Cyprus, presenting an evening full of emotion, joy and hope. Maraveyas’ high energy, talent and inspiring connection with the audience will make this a night to remember. Sounding at the theatre will be some of his hit music and beloved covers
Come March, more explosive music concerts from the Greek scene will entertain Cyprus listeners. On March 8, the renowned Greek band Mple will join forces with the Cypriot band Prospectus for a unique performance at DownTown Live. This will be more of a late-night happening as doors open at 10.30pm and the music begins at 11.30pm and lasting until late.
