I never knew they could be so elaborate.
These Greek fried meatballs are almost like my dearly departed and beloved Greek Mother's recipe, minus the
ouzo, tomatoes, and the cumin. I also add Greek red sweet Mavrothaphne wine to the bread slices and soak
them well. and also use the Greek red wine to wet my hands before rolling the meatballs, rather than using ouzo.
I like to drink Ouzo straight by itself.
I never serve Ouzo with a meal. I rather serve a rich Greek white or red wine with food.
The Greek meatballs are great .
