WAUKESHA — Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church’s Greek Fest, a staple of Milwaukee summers for six decades, is heading to a new venue in 2026. The beloved festival will celebrate its seventh decade June 19-21 at the Waukesha County Expo Center Grounds.
While the location is new, organizers say the spirit of Greek Fest remains unchanged. Attendees can look forward to the same cherished family recipes, cultural traditions, live music, and renowned Greek hospitality that have defined the event for generations.
“We are thrilled to bring Greek Fest to a new location,” said Greg Papachristou, Parish Council president of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. “As we looked for a venue that would build on our success at State Fair Park, the Waukesha County Expo Center Grounds stood out as a place where we can grow and serve even more Greek Fest enthusiasts.”
Waukesha County leaders also welcomed the move. “We’re honored to welcome Greek Fest to its new home at the Waukesha County Expo Center Grounds,” Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow said. “The Expo Center is built for large, family-friendly events, and Waukesha County is a community that shows up. We look forward to greeting festival-goers from across southeastern Wisconsin.’
In addition to the venue change, the 61st Annual Greek Fest will introduce new menu items, expanded entertainment and added cultural experiences in 2026.
More details, including entertainment schedules, menus and activities, will be released in the coming months. Greek food fans won’t have to wait until summer, however. Taste of Greece is scheduled for Feb. 14-15 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 9400 W. Congress, offering a preview of the festival flavors.
